Hello & Welcome! My name is Sue and I've been a crafter forever. I have always enjoyed creating.... but I don't think I've ever gotten as much pleasure out of creating as I do now..............
I had been ebaying for a few years and was left with all kinds of chipped and cracked dinnerware and pottery. I ran across a broken china mosaic shabby table and fell in love immediately... so I began breaking that old chipped and cracked china and trying my hand at mosaics. Soon I found myself with small antique tables with a desperate need for a second chance at life. I just love being able to do this.
My friend Mr Flannery calls it "shabotaging" (sabotaging antiques into shabby LOL). He also tells me "One of the advantages of this business is the opportunity to recycle, redecorate and share beautiful items." I'm so glad he is visiting us when he's not busy with his blog Hogs and Roses, slaying dragons at his real job, or setting up for a sale at the Porch, or one of his other many adventures.
